Going Green Plant Nursery is a family owned and operated business.  Our family consists of owners Greg and Christie, and children, Layne, Alex, and Emma Aspinwall.  

A little bit about how Going Green came about:

     As a kid I grew up farming with my father. Through the years, he taught me a lot about growing and nurturing plants.  The knowledge he shared with me has been a direct influence on my life.  Since he passed, I have ventured into two very different endeavours; owning and operating Aspinwall Custom Cabinets and Going Green Plant Nursery.  Having been fortunate enough over the last ten years to have a solid, successful cabinet business, I was able to indulge in my passion for plants and open a greenhouse nursery.  With the passion for growing plants and the success of the cabinet shop, it was only natural to expand and open what's now known as Going Green Plant Nursery.   - Greg

       We have several greenhouses, outdoor growing sites, a potting area, and a full time staff.  We self-propagate and grow as much in house as we can. We ship plants all over the country, the only plant we can't ship out of the state of Georgia is the Citrus trees.  We specialize in an array of ferns, but we stock a large variety of other items to include mixed containers, pottery, annuals and perennials, trees and shrubs, and other tropical foliage. We just recently opened a full time farmer's market with fresh produce grown right here at the nursery with vegetables like Greens, Cabbage, Squash, Cucumbers, Sweet Potatoes, Peanuts and  Tomatoes.  We strive to maintain an organized, green, and environment-friendly facility right here in Screven, Georgia.
